Arett Open House returns to Atlantic City September 16–17, bringing the lawn and garden industry together for two days of product discovery, strategic buying, valuable connections, and a milestone celebration 75 years in the making.

Every season challenges lawn and garden retailers to look ahead. This year, looking forward also comes with a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how far the industry—and Arett Sales—has come.

Arett’s story began with the Librett family’s involvement in hardware retailing during the 1920s. As lawn and garden developed into a retail category of its own, Arett grew alongside it by helping independent businesses respond to changing seasons, new products, and evolving customer expectations.

Seventy-five years later, those same principles remain at the center of Arett Sales: partnership, service, and growth.

The 2026 Arett Open House will bring that history to life while giving retailers the products, programs, and connections they need to prepare for the next season.

Two Days Focused on What Comes Next

Open House returns to the Atlantic City Convention Center on Wednesday, September 16, and Thursday, September 17.

Wednesday, September 16

Show hours: 8:00 AM–6:00 PM

Arett 75 Jubilee: 6:30–9:30 PM

Thursday, September 17

Show hours: 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Across two focused show days, attendees can meet directly with manufacturers, strengthen vendor relationships, compare products, and identify opportunities for their spring 2027 assortments.

The exhibitor lineup continues to grow, bringing together established manufacturers, emerging vendors, and products spanning lawn and garden, outdoor living, pet, holiday, hardware, home, and other important retail categories. For independent retailers, it is an opportunity to move beyond a product listing or digital image—to see merchandise firsthand, ask better questions, and make more informed buying decisions. Explore the exhibitor lineup.

More Ways to Buy Smarter

Product discovery is only part of the Open House experience. The show also brings Arett’s major buying programs and show-only opportunities together in one place.

Attendees can explore featured new-item savings through N5% New Items, earn year-round rebates with participating vendors through Passport to Profits, and uncover deeply discounted opportunities through Closeouts, Doorbusters, and the Wild Card Bonus.

Power Alley will feature pallet programs, displays, and planograms with savings reaching up to 50% on participating offers. New Biz Rewards will give live-show attendees added incentives to explore participating new vendors, while the Greensmith Advertising team will be available to discuss show promotions across digital, print, social media, and other marketing services.

Together, these programs are designed to help retailers do more than find a lower price. They create opportunities to protect margins, test new categories, improve merchandising, and build more competitive assortments for the coming season. Review the 2026 show programs.

A Show Built Around Relationships

Although products and programs fill the show floor, relationships have always been the foundation of Open House.

For 75 years, Arett’s growth has been closely connected to the customers, manufacturers, employees, and industry partners who helped move the business forward. Open House creates the space to continue those conversations—whether that means reconnecting with a longtime vendor, meeting a new manufacturer, discussing changing customer demand, or exchanging ideas with another retailer.

That spirit will take center stage Wednesday evening during the Arett 75 Jubilee.

Held from 6:30–9:30 PM on the sixth floor of Bally’s Atlantic City, the anniversary event will invite customers, vendors, and the Arett team to celebrate while dining and connecting across four relaxed environments. It will be an evening dedicated to the partnerships behind Arett’s first 75 years—and the people helping shape what comes next. View the complete show schedule.

Everything You Need for a Productive Show

Open House is designed to keep attendees energized and focused throughout both days.

Complimentary continental breakfast and lunch will be available Wednesday and Thursday, along with a Wednesday afternoon snack break. Free Jitney transportation will also run between designated show hotels, the Atlantic City Convention Center, and the Wednesday evening celebration at Bally’s.

Attendees can stay at the newly renovated Bally’s Atlantic City, the official host hotel for the anniversary event, or at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel, conveniently connected to the Convention Center by skywalk. Explore hotel options.

Travel resources are also available for attendees arriving by car, train, or air, including advance-request airport transportation and information about NJ Transit and Amtrak connections. Plan your trip to Atlantic City.

Stay for the Show. Stay for the Chance to Win.

The energy will extend beyond the booths and buying programs, with raffles adding an extra element of excitement throughout Open House.

All raffle winners will be announced on the show floor on Thursday, September 17. The grand prize winner will receive a tropical vacation for two to a destination of their choice. Attendees will also have opportunities to win a variety of themed raffle baskets.

To be eligible, customers must attend Open House on both Wednesday and Thursday and be present on the show floor when the raffle winners are announced.

Two full days of products, partnerships, and possibilities could end with an unforgettable getaway.

75 Years Deserves a Celebration

Wednesday evening will bring the anniversary story to life during the Arett 75 Jubilee, the signature celebration of Open House 2026.

From 6:30–9:30 PM on the sixth floor of Bally’s Atlantic City, customers, manufacturers, industry partners, and the Arett team will come together for an evening of dining, conversation, and celebration across four distinctive, relaxed environments.

More than an after-hours event, the Jubilee will recognize the people and partnerships behind Arett’s first 75 years. It will be an opportunity to reconnect with longtime colleagues, build new relationships, share stories, and celebrate the industry that has helped generations of independent businesses grow.

Complimentary Jitney transportation will run between Bally’s, the Convention Center, and the Sheraton, making it easy for attendees to move from the show floor to the evening celebration. View the 2026 show schedule.

Celebrating the Past by Investing in the Future

A 75th anniversary naturally invites reflection, but Open House 2026 is ultimately about what lies ahead.

It is about giving retailers greater access to products and people. It is about creating opportunities to buy with more confidence, responding to changing consumer expectations, and preparing for another demanding season. Most importantly, it is about continuing the partnerships that have sustained Arett and the independent lawn and garden industry across generations.

The first 75 years were built one season and one relationship at a time.

Now, the next season starts here.
