An Exciting New Chapter for Deroma
Established in 1955 in Northern Italy, Deroma has long been the worlds largest producer of terracotta and decorative planters. Deroma is also a world leader in innovation, developing its collections through the work of designers and researchers, based on precise market strategies to meet the requirements and expectations of our consumers.
In 1997 Deroma purchased Marshall Pottery, the only industrial terracotta manufacturing facility in the USA. In 2021 Deroma announced another exciting chapter in our history. On 29th June 2021, the entire Deroma Group has been transferred to the company “Nuova Deroma”. Nuova Deroma is wholly owned by Njord Terra Lux, a Luxembourg company owned by the investment fund managed by Njord Partners LLP, based in London.
Njord was founded in 2013 by former managers of KKR & Co. and Oaktree Capital and has total capital in excess of €600 million; Njord, unlike other private equity funds, is a long-term flexible investor interested in value creation. Njord has spent a lot of time over the last few years creating a development plan to strengthen and grow the Deroma group through significant investments.
Deroma Group production is strategically located in Italy, Texas, Taiwan, Thailand, Pakistan and Vietnam. We offer a comprehensive collection of decorative planters. Deroma has been know world wide for decades as one of the most important clay and glaze manufacturers, Deroma is quickly becoming one of the most innovative and interesting suppliers in the plastics market. Deroma’s lines of plastic offer a broad range of features and benefits. Shop our outstanding new collections at the Arett Pottery Showcase June 20th-July22nd, 2022.
