Open House In Bloom Recap: 5 Things Retailers Loved About Our Show

Every September, Arett Sales brings together lawn and garden retailers from across the country for our annual Open House trade show—and this year’s In Bloom theme was one of our most exciting yet. From inspiring merchandising displays to unbeatable show specials, retailers walked away with fresh ideas, new connections, and deals that will boost their businesses well into 2026.

Here are five highlights that retailers loved most about this year’s Open House:

1. Entrance Profiles That Inspired Merchandising Magic

The entrance displays went above and beyond this year, giving retailers a fresh perspective on how to merchandise everyday products in new, creative ways. With the help of the Greensmith Marketing team, six unique vignettes were carefully designed to inspire retailers to reimagine their own store layouts:

These profiles gave retailers a treasure trove of display inspiration to bring back to their own stores.

2. Coffee Bar with an In Bloom-Inspired Twist

Retailers loved our midday pick-me-up at our Sea La Vie Coffee Bar, which featured a curated drink menu tied to the In Bloom theme:

The line stayed long all afternoon as attendees grabbed their drinks and mingled with fellow vendors & retailers before finishing up their late afternoon show orders.

3. Raffles Galore with Big Prizes

Who doesn’t love a chance to win? This year, raffles returned in a big way. Every guest who scanned their badge was automatically entered—no hassle, no cost. Prizes ranged from grills and iPads to AMEX gift cards and even a Caribbean Vacation Grand Prize. Here’s a look at our winners:

4. Wednesday Night Luau at the Borgata

Despite the gloomy weather, nothing could dampen the energy of our Wednesday Night Luau. Held in the Event Center at the Borgata, the tropical-themed event kicked off with leis at the door, a full buffet (prime rib and striped bass were crowd favorites), and our signature tropical drinks!

The night closed with live entertainment from Midnight Soundtrack, who had guests dancing and celebrating long into the evening. This social highlight gave retailers and vendors a chance to connect outside the show floor.

5. Show Specials Retailers Couldn’t Resist

Of course, the #1 reason many retailers attend Open House is to secure the best deals of the year. This year’s In Bloom specials did not disappoint:

Even if you missed the show, many of these offers remain available through October 3, with Closeouts running until December 1
