Preen Lawn Weed Control attacks lawn weeds any time they are growing.
Let’s face it, we all want to sell product. But, we also have a responsibility to provide sound agronomic recommendations that will benefit both your customers and their lawns. That’s where Preen Lawn Weed Control comes in.
You probably know about weed and feeds. Preen Lawn Weed Control is different. This product is a weed killer and only a weed killer. It contains no fertilizer. So customers can use it to take out tough lawn weeds any time, any season, including summer when the fertilizer in a weed and feed would burn their grass. Maybe they already used a weed and feed and think they’re forced to wait 8-weeks before going after the weeds again. They don’t need to wait. With Preen Lawn Weed Control you can recommend it to attack those weeds right now. Customers can use it any time weeds are growing.
When lawns have lots of weeds, it’s time to get Preen Lawn Weed Control. It kills more than 200 types of tough weeds including dandelions, chickweed, thistle and clover. It kills the weeds. It kills the roots. And it won’t harm the grass when used as directed. It can be used to kill the lawn weeds, roots and all, in spring, summer or fall, even if they’ve just fertilized their lawn. Whether their weed problem involves the whole lawn……or just a patch of weeds in need of spot treatment, Preen Lawn Weed Control has it covered.
Share these simple tips with your customers for applying Preen Lawn Weed Control:
- A good time to apply the product is in the morning, when the lawn is damp with dew, or after it rains. You want the granules to stick to the weed leaves.
- DO NOT water this product in. In fact it’s important that you don’t water the lawn — and that it doesn’t rain — for a day or two after application. This is the time when the product does its work. The granules stick to the wet leaves and the active ingredient is absorbed by the weed, killing it right down to the roots.
- Be patient – as granular lawn weed killer does not have an immediate effect. Within two weeks, the lawn weeds should begin wilting and dying.
- Preen Lawn Weed Control can be used on all lawns except carpet grass, dichondra, St. Augustine grass, or established turf containing desirable clovers.
And that’s it – if you have it on hand of course! Preen Lawn Weed Control is made for killing tough weeds in problem lawns. It’s a great product to help your customers enjoy the thick, green, weed-free lawn they’ve always wanted.
